Orvieto (Testa Rossa – Radio Song) posted a strong 1st up win on Friday 5/9/2014 at Geelong in Race 7 -1100 m. Bred by Stratheden Stud & Lucy Horseman and sold at the 2012 Gold Coast Magic Millions under Southern Cross Breeders and prepared for sale at Riversdale, this filly looks to have a promising future having now posted 4 wins from 5 starts. Our Miss Bossy (Street Boss – Brooke’s Express) motored home to narrowly win on Saturday 6/9/2014 Race 2 at Morphettville Parks making this her 4th win. Trained by Phillip Stokes and reared at Riversdale for her owners, Miss Bossy has a 3yo ½ brother by Bernardini and a yearling ½ sister by Poet’s Voice coming on.

Also on Saturday, Air Of Heaven ( Refuse To Bend – Jaina Solo) home reared for Peter & Brenda Breen won at Mareeba making this her 4th win.

The highlight for Riversdale for Saturday was a strong return to racing for Eloping who finished 3rd in the Gr2 Mitty’s McKewen Stakes at Mooney Valley bring her earnings up to $761,150. Prepared for sale at Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale and sold under Southern Cross Breeders, Eloping has been a very consistent filly, well worth her $120k purchase price. A big congratulations to Senga Bissett & Ivan Woodford-Smith for breeding the Gr3 winner of the Concord Stakes at Randwick on Saturday, Wouldn’t It Be Nice.

And the 4th winner of this weekend is Delray Beach (Exceed & Excel – Bella Reina) Riversdale homebred for David Simpson posted his 7th win at Kalgoorlie on Sunday 7/9/2014 bringing his prize money up to over the $100k mark.
